0404Jeff Johnson and Kal Vepuri co-founded contemporary outerwear brand The Arrivals. They proudly call themselves industry outsiders who seek to make their mark in fashion. The duo was inspired to partner after noticing a gap in the market for luxury outerwear at a justifiable pricepoint.
0404 The company name is a reflection of the team - Jeff was trained as an architect and Kal is a tech investor/entrepreneur who triple majored in electric engineering, economics, and computer science at Duke. Jeff incorporates the functionality, uniqueness, and minimalist aesthetic of architecture to the designs. Kal brings his successful experience with the direct-to-consumer e-commerce model.
0404Jeff is paying it forward as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Architecture & Urban Design / Design Media at Pratt. Kal is an angel investor, whose company is aptly called Brainchild Holdings, and whose portfolio includes familiar names  such as Warby Parker, Hinge, and Reformation.
